Welcome to yet another “Wacky December” edition of Pintastic Recipes! Charlene hasn’t been feeling well lately, so she decided to sit this episode out. Instead, Ryan took the reins and hosted the show along with our three kids as co-hosts. The kids seemed to have fun, but Ryan definitely ended the show with a few more gray hairs on his head.
In this week’s episode, we test a Meatloaf Pizza (or as Ryan likes to call it, “Meat-zza”) recipe from BlogFoodForThought.com. And yes, we did just test a wacky pizza recipe earlier this month, but to be fair, that was a completely different type of pizza. The Sweet and Spicy Strawberry Pizza from two episodes ago is just that; sweet and spicy. The Meatloaf Pizza is savory and doesn’t use pizza dough.
In terms of taste, Ryan enjoyed the dish but felt it was a bit bland. Charlene, who was able to taste the dish shortly after filming, quite enjoyed it and gave it a slightly higher rating than Ryan. Kaelyn and Aniya also enjoyed it – which is strange since they’re such picky eaters – and both gave the dish a high rating. Bryce didn’t try the dish because, well, he doesn’t have the attention span to film an entire episode. Here are the official rankings:
Charlene: 4 / 5 Pins
Ryan: 3.8 / 5 Pins
Kaelyn: 5 / 5 Pins!
Aniya: 4 / 5 Pins
